Horror High

so i've been pretty busy lately...doing what you ask? none of your goddamn business, suffice to say, i haven't had much time for blogging lately...i would apologize but i know that no one cares, myself included, so im not sorry....anyway, heres a little poem i wrote about two of my favorite things...Lovecraft and getting fucked up....its called Horror High...i hope ya hate it...

so you've been wondering what to do with the rest of your rotten life
you're sick of everything and you'll never find a wife
but before you go ahead and kill your stupid fucking self
let me show you how to best play the hand that you've been dealt

smoke weed and worship Cthulhu
take a shot of Jager and hail Pazuzu
crack open a beer and make a toast to Yog Sothoth
snort a line of powder in the name of Azathoth
drop a hit of acid and reach the top of Kadath
share a joint with Randolph Carter
and make the ancient dreamer cough
watch the Colours Out Of Space
as they swirl in the sky
hitch a ride with a Night-Gaunt
and get really fucking high!

take a boatride down to Innsmouth
and inspect the local pubs
party with the Deep Ones
you know them fish-frogs got the nuggs

tripping fucking balls
you reach the Plains Of Leng
here you'll come to witness
The Thing That Should Not Be
all sanity has been lost
and theres only one hope
summon the mighty Windwalker
Ithaqua bring the coke!

now you're racing across the frozen tundras of Hyperborea
Cthulhu fused, drug induced, Lovecraftian euphoria

R.I.P. Flattus Maximus

so yet another musician that matters has passed away....im speaking of Cory Smoot aka Flattus Maximus from the legendary scumdogs of the universive, the mighty GWAR....details as to what caused his death have not yet been reported, just that he was found dead by his bandmates before heading to Canada to finish their North American tour....this world sux enough, its heartbreaking to lose another member of the metal community that has brought us so much joy and badass tunes throughtout the years...he will be missed

Eat, Fuck, Kill, Repeat (AxCx tribute song)

another Putnam inspired song....i plan on playing these songs in a new crazy grindcore band i will be playing guitar and doing vocals for, called Hellspawn Warhammers Of The Nordic Winds...this platter of splatter is called Eat, Fuck, Kill, Repeat

I ate your dog
It tasted like frog
I'm glad you didn't own a hog
Cause all those pigs can fuck the hell off!

I fucked your mom
So did my man, Tom
We both agreed she kinda stank
But it was money in the bank
And i just wanted some skank
So the bitch got stuck
And learned the definition of fuck

I killed your cat
With a barbed wire baseball bat
It didn't make a noise
Thought it was one of her toys
Until her brains exploded
Onto the kitchen floor
There is a puddle of gore
Where your pussy was before
I saw her kinda twitch
Then she showed her teeth
And took a giant fuckin shit

Eat, Fuck, Kill, Repeat (chorus x4)
so many things to do with my meat

Fuck A Bowl Of Ducks (AxCx tribute song)

been thinking about Seth Putnam and blasting Anal Cunt all day long...i felt inspired to write a few Anal Cunt-like songs in honor of my fallen hero...there was a huge thunderstorm a few hours ago and i felt the furious call of the grind in the howling wind and the pouring rain....i swear every time i would write a funny line down on paper there would be a huge lightning bolt that split the sky and the roar of thunder came crashing down, as if Seth was laughing from his grindcore megaplex in the sky....this song is called Fuck A Bowl Of Ducks...

Eat a bowl of fuck
Fuck a bowl of ducks
Donkeypunch a slut
And then bust a fucking nut

Bend her over and make her scream
Tell her to suck your throbbing thing
Slap her in the face with your massive tentacle
Fuck her in the ass in the center of a pentacle

Have a gangbang while listening to Slayer
Do a line of blow off of a big tittied stranger
Pound that pussy
Make her gag on your cock
And by the end of the night
You can say that you rocked

R.I.P. SETH PUTNAM

this is fucking gay!!! seriously, i can't believe this shit!...the indestructible and mighty Seth Putnam of Anal Cunt fame (among others) has died of a heart attack at age 43...this guy was the most hardcore, real, true to life motherfuckers you could ever hope to meet and his death is a great loss to grindcore, punk, metal, and music in general...he was the grindcore G.G. Allin in my opinion...he said what he wanted, did what he wanted, when he wanted, and basically the rest of the world could go fuck off as far as he was concerned...i love that attitude and spirit and how he managed to offend almost everyone that has ever heard his music and is outside of the grind/metal/punk scene...i am bummed out about the news, for sure, but i know Seth wouldn't want people acting all gay about his death...he'd want to throw a fucking party and maybe punch Chris Barnes in the face or some shit...so that's what im gonna do...im gonna drink this beer, smoke some things, and then hunt down that Chris Barnes pussy, cut his dreads off and stuff em down his fucking throat until hes shitting out clumps of matted hair and feces....fuck....i gotta do something to occupy my day....my suggestion to everyone is to blast some Anal Cunt and go out and kill everyone you hate, so that Seth has some people to beat up in hell...R.I.P. brother, we will meet again

The Dwarves Are Still The Best Band Ever

so its been a little while since my last post, i've been pretty busy and when i did have free time to bless the masses with another asskickin album/movie/book etc. download, i didn't have anything that i felt was worthy of my 100th post for this blog....thats right, number 100, and to mark this milestone i think i have found the perfect album....anyone that knows me personally knows im a huge Dwarves fan...they are the epitome of punk fucking rock and nobody parties harder than those motherfuckers...hell, one of my old punk bands, back in the day, was called Blag XIII (thats Blag 13 to the roman numeral illiterate or Blag Thirteen to the number illiterate *check my previous posts to hear a track or two of raging hardcore punk rock, circa 1997) and the singer of that band, my fellow true punk rock brother, got a tattoo of the Dwarves symbol "skull and cockbones" as his first tattoo when he was 16 years old (the only guy i know that has 3 cocks...we didn't call him Dik XIII for nothin! and hows that for a pickup line, by the way? "hey baby, you ever been with a guy with 3 cocks before?" she'll say no, of course, but this arouses curiousity in the female mind, and the battle is half won...if she says yes...run, cause that bitch is either mentally ill or worse...if she says "no but i'd like to" then you know you've found yourself a real winner and congratulations, you're about to get laid...trust me, i've seen it work firsthand)....anyway, i digress...the moral of the story is, The Dwarves rule, fuck you if you don't agree....let the party begin! ....yesterday was my birthday and im officially claiming this as a birthday present from Blag and the boys...i know they didn't write this album specifically just for me, but it sure as fuck sounds like it...and why not?, im a huge fan that deserves a lil somethin sumthin for my birthday...so thanks fellas, you kick more ass than a donkey! DO THE HE WHOOOOOOO!!!
the dates wrong on this post by the way...doesn't really matter a whole lot but it was actually the 24th when i posted this, which makes my birthday the 23rd, just to clarify (and in case you wanted to send me a present, cause i like free stuff)...and for anyone wondering, im 32 years old, so this is my flipside year...things are going topsy turvey, expect the unexpected, and let chaos reign! party on fuckers!

Whargoul by Dave Brockie

this is an actual book written by Dave Brockie, also known as Oderus Urungus to all the Gwar fans out there...and if Gwar's lyrics are any indication of how awesome this book is gonna be (and i think they are), then i am most definitely excited...i just found out this book was released on Dec. 4, 2010, nearly ten years after it was written...and on my quest for information about this horrific novel, i came across a link to the manuscript of Whargoul that Brockie had posted himself back in '06 after being frustrated by not finding a good publisher to print the book and not wanting to let it go to waste, sitting on his hard drive forever...he said it was about 160 pages if you printed it out...now i don't know if this is exactly what you get when you buy the actual book, but im guessing hes done some revising and editing since this was posted and also, amazon.com has the book listed as having 244 pages...so if you're interested, go ahead and check out this "rough draft" so to speak, of what is sure to be a bone breaking, blood splattering, roller coaster of carnage...i think im going to hold off on reading this manuscript and wait til i get my hands on a copy of the actual, physical book, and i urge everyone else to go out and buy this shit now...if you're a fan of Gwar and aren't illiterate, you need this book!

Korgoth Of Barbaria

this is the best cartoon ever....that's all i can say...it was originally scheduled to be a show on Adult Swim but only this pilot episode was made, and despite good reviews, Adult Swim still decided to cancel the show, citing that it was "too expensive" to produce...fans were outraged, petitions were created, but ultimately to no avail, as we're left with this one and only episode, wondering what might have been...now, i love most of the shows on Adult Swim but i gotta wonder what the fuck they were thinking by not continuing this project...so it costs a bit more to make, shell out a few extra bucks and you have a quality show that everyone loves and i am sure the merchandising alone would counterbalance the cost of making the show....here's the description... "In a dark future wasteland, the great cities have risen and fallen, primordial beasts have reclaimed the wilderness and thieves and savages populate sparse, dirty towns. From the frozen north emerges a warrior known as Korgoth, and his merciless savagery may be his only key to survival."

The Decline Of Western Civilization

this is an awesome documentary covering the early 80's punk rock scene in L.A...it features interviews and music with some of the greatest punk bands ever, like, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, and Fear, just to name a few...this was released in 1981 and is a VHS rip but the quality is decent...a rare movie you don't see everyday, but probably should, check out this classic punk rock documentary

Scale The Summit - The Collective (2011)

instrumental technical progressive metal...this is pretty good stuff

Decrepitaph - Profane Doctrines Unburied (2011)

true old school death metal on Razorback Records...nothing fancy or technical going on here, just evil shredding, haunted harmonies, bonechilling breakdowns, violent vocals, and demolishing drumbeats...the way old school death metal should be played, ya gotta love it!

Rotten Sound - Cursed (2011)

Rotten Sound will blast your fucking face off!!! if you haven't heard of them before then you don't know grindcore like you should...get this album and prepare to have your brain thrown in a blender set to GRIND!!!

R.I.P. Phil Vane

some sad news to report...earlier this week Phil Vane, vocalist for Extreme Noise Terror, passed away and grindcore lost a legend...it shocked me to hear of this, considering Phil was only 46, but apparently the story is that he passed away in his sleep....gone but never forgotten, his music and spirit will live on forever...E.N.T. has always held a special place in my heart...when i was a young punk rocker i found a patch with the Extreme Noise Terror logo at the local hardcore record store and i immediately snatched it up and sewed it onto my favorite hat that i wore all the time, i had never seen a patch like that before, or since (i lost the hat at a hardcore show but thats a whole other story) while being one of the best hardcore crust punk bands, in my opinion, E.N.T. also became very influential in grindcore with their dual vocal attack...Phil Vane also sang for Napalm Death for a short while, so yeah, it goes without saying this guy was legendary in the scene and definitely will be missed....
heres probably one of the heavier albums Extreme Noise Terror ever released, and also one of my favorites because not only do you have Phil and Dean from E.N.T. doing vocals, you also got Barney Greenway from Napalm Death thrown into the mix and the result is fucking amazing...not taking anything away from Napalm Death because i love them just as much as E.N.T., but i would have liked to see Barney do another album with E.N.T. cause this one is so good

Zombies vs. Robots

expand your mind, read a book...uh oh, too many words and not enough pictures? then read a comic book...hey heres one, Zombies vs. Robots, check it out...

H.R. - Hey Wella

okay so Bad Brains are one of my favorite hardcore punk bands of all time, very influential to me as a young punk rocker, thanks in large part to the vocal stylings of this man, H.R. (Human Rights)...he has such a distinctive voice that stands out from the rest of the pack and you can tell he never holds anything back when he picks up the mic...now this solo album came out in 2008 and is quite a departure from Bad Brains style and even his older self titled solo album...i love H.R. and have much respect for the guy but i have to be honest...i don't know what the fuck hes talking about half the time on this record!...its no big surprise that this rastafarian smokes lots of weed and that while under the effects of the ganja, its possible to not make a whole lot of sense when you speak, but this is ridiculous...just listen to the title track to this record and you'll know exactly what i mean....H.R., with all due respect, i don't know what the hell you're smoking man, but chill out on that shit for awhile, its having a negative effect on your music...with that being said, i still think this record is worth a spin or two...its not the greatest offering from a living hardcore legend but check it out anyway and have yourself a "soul reggae hip hop rub a dub luv" good time

Lady Death : The Motion Picture

being a big fan of Chaos Comics (Evil Ernie in particular) i was super stoked to learn that there is a new Lady Death comic book series that is being released by Boundless Comics, a division of Avatar Press...issues #0 and #1 are out now, with #2 slated for sometime this month...the artwork looks incredible and the story is still being written by original creator Brian Pulido...so i got issue #0, and i plan on trying to keep up with this series cause i think its gonna be killer....back in 2004, years after Chaos Comics went out of business, Lady Death was resurrected in her own full length animated movie!! and that's what we have here....some people may have problems with this movie, personally, i think its awesome and im just happy to see a favorite character of mine (that isn't Marvel) get animated...even if you've never heard of Lady Death before or have never read a comic book in your life, this movie is still an enjoyable watch...long live Lady Death!

T.S.O.L. - Dance With Me

this album rules...an old school punk rock classic...this is T.S.O.L. at their very best...a must have for any respectable punk http://www.mediafire.com/?xqt67tl582bcagl

Dropdead - The Eventual Result (Drop On The Bootleg)

i was fortunate enough to catch Dropdead live in Baltimore, MD about a week ago, this was my third time seeing them play live and i gotta say, they never disappoint...the crowd was virtually dead until Dropdead took the stage and then absolute total chaos erupted on the dance floor and i immediately remembered why i still love going to shows and what got me into the scene in the first place...this band is the perfect reflection of everything thats right with hardcore punk...the music blasts, really fast, tight short songs, but the most important thing i think is the message...Dropdead has some really great lyrics and inspire me to do my part to make a change in the world for the better.....this cd here is a mini disc that was recorded live in Japan in 1996 and was released by Profane Existence...it captures one the most influential hardcore bands blazing through 16 songs of intelligent, pissed off punk; played with the pure rage and intensity that its undeniable that this band practices what they preach and they stand behind their message...its up to you and i to make a difference, its up to you and i to make a change, its up to you and i to....LIBERATE!!!

Space Zombie Bingo

Troma movies rule....i can't get enough of em....here's the description of the film... "The Troma Team proudly presents a sci-fi movie so unusual that it is destined to become a science-fiction classic (or at least - unforgettably goofy), SPACE ZOMBIE BINGO! The earth is in grave danger when a gang of flesh-eating zombies from outer space take on menacing military macho men. The future of the world rests solely on the shoulders of the Zombie Defense Corps and their incredulous leader, Major Kent Bendover. Will Major Bendover and his moronic kitchen utensil-bearing troops have what it takes to battle these horrifying space invaders, or will the entire universe crumble to become a SPACE ZOMBIE BINGO!?!? Hearken back to the seriously silly space invader threats of the past. Witness bizarre, steamy zombie-earthling love interaction of the future. Enjoy a close encounter of the inexpensive kind. Experience Troma's campy free-for-all, SPACE ZOMBIE BINGO." so let me just say, this movie could win the award for most misleading DVD cover of all time...while i think this movie is awesome, hilariously stupid and fun to watch, there are no scantily clad women running around with laser rifles...i mean none...there is a girl named Barbie Que in the movie....but if you just saw the cover and were expecting a B-movie boob fest, you'll be disappointed..... with that being said, this movie doesn't need naked ladies to work...the cheap special effects, absurd costumes, comical narration, and candid acting are more than enough to make this film a pretty entertaining watch...so if you're in the mood for a campy low budget good time, check this flick out!

The H.P. Lovecraft Christmas Book

okay, i know im a little late on this one...like a month or so, give or take a few days...but rather than wait all the way til next year, i figured i'd break out some post holiday cheer with a rare and obscure book containing Christmas greetings and poems written by none other than the master of the macabre and creator of Cthulhu himself, H.P. Lovecraft! this book was originally pressed in 1984 by Necronomicon Press, i have the second printing from 1996...i gotta say, this is definitely not some of Lovecraft's best material, haha, not at all...but it is interesting to get a glimpse into this side of the writers life http://www.mediafire.com/?jw1aybaax64rlll Merry Christmas to all, and to all, the stars are right!

Lovecraftian Art

so heres a small sampling of some really cool Lovecraft inspired artwork by Mike Garcia...this collection of work was originally published in August of 1975, and was limited to 995 copies...but i was lucky enough to come across this amazing portfolio in my never ending quest for Cthulhu collectibles and Lovecraftian lore...i don't know much about the artist, other than his name is Mike Garcia and hes from Lemon Grove, California....this file contains all of the art from the book except for a piece entitled "At The Mountains Of Madness"...i had trouble scanning that one because it took up two pages and i couldn't paste the images together in a way that would do it any justice, so i decided to leave that one out...but you will find seven interesting artistic interpretations of some of Lovecraft's most well known stories

Seasick - 2 Years Of Hub City Hardcore

the band is called SEASICK and this album is just plain sick!! from the cover art to the lyrics to the hardcore aggressive punk rock furious sound they deliver, and we can't forget the fact that this record is limited to 500 copies (420 on black wax and 80 on blue...i got the black) so, this is a vinyl rip and i think it turned out pretty well for the most part...if you notice any pops, crackles, or minor sound glitches, you have my permission to quietly curse under your breath and find a way to deal with it...cause hey, its just punk rock man....

Blotted Science - The Machinations Of Dementia

i fuckin love this album! it came out in 2007 and i remember hearing that it featured Alex Webster from Cannibal Corpse on bass and Derek Roddy from Nile on drums, so immediately i knew i had to get it...and of course it blew me away, and i listened to it over and over again for a time...but somehow it got lost in the countless other albums and bands i've checked out in the past few years...then something jogged my memory recently and i uncovered this masterpiece of an album, and im glad i did...this is probably the best instrumental progressive metal album ever...consisting of 16 tracks of mind warping metal that never gets boring or repetitive, this record is an instant classic

http://www.mediafire.com/?h6zro43a7o5ick1

look for their new EP, "The Animation Of Entomology" coming sometime later this year!

Cause For Effect - Progressive And Minimalist Recording (2010)

okay time to switch things up with a very unique and underrated band, Cause For Effect...these guys are a 2 piece, drum and bass grindcore powerhouse...the basslines are jazzy, spastic, catchy, and complex while the drumming is tight and full of tempo changes and solid fills...the vocals are another cool thing about this band...the combination of a heavy growl over top of fast drumming and intricate basslines makes for an awesome, non typical, grindcore listening experience...i realize this record might not be for everybody, but for the true grindcore fanatic, its something different worth checking out

Flatulated - Tales Of The Gruesome And Horrifying (2010)

this is some crazyass goregrind from Texas...why is it crazy you ask? listen to tracks 4 and 8 and you'll know exactly what i mean...this is not your typical gore band, sure they blast from time to time, theres plenty of groove, the vocals are heavy and everything else you would come to expect from a band with such a name and album title, but then....well, i don't wanna spoil anything for the potential listeners so i'll just say this...if you're looking for an entertaining, very tongue in cheek and fun album, than this is for you...i myself dig the contrast of styles they incorporate in their songs and i particularly like the track "The Horror From Uranus" because they clearly mention Cthulhu...maybe im easy to please, but i think this is a record thats worth a listen or two http://www.mediafire.com/?d1406bk3dx393wh

The Dark Prison Massacre - Secret Of Black Silk Stockkings (2010)

i think there might be a goregrind resurrection afoot...and this band is definitely contributing to the uprising of the brutal musical madness that is goregrind!! i had never heard this band before and i honestly don't know much about them, but i do know that this is one sick album from start to finish and the artwork is supersick and the cover version of "Ovulation Overlord" by Plasma is sick as hell...so basically to sum up this release in a word, it'd have to be SICK!!! if you thought brutal slam and goregrind was dead, you won't after hearing this album...my favorite track has got to be "My Cock Is The Truth"...cause it is

Cannibal Accident - Brutalent (2011)

okay, so its been awhile since my last post...a lot of shit has gone down, too many numerous things to mention, suffice to say im back (at least for the time being) and ready to grind!! theres been a lot of good releases in the past few months and today i came across one more...the brand new album from Cannibal Accident!! now this is what im talking about! if you're unfamiliar with these guys, they play heavy, grooveladen, grindcore with goresoaked lyrics and sick as fuck vocals...this album is 10 tracks of brutality by some talented grinders, hence the title "Brutalent"...this is a must for any goregrind fan, check this shit out now!...and the cover art is bad as hell too (always a plus)
