on May 31 we celebrate the life of one of the greatest people to ever walk the face of the earth...no im not talking about some american soldier that died, because its Memorial Day...im talking about the most creative, inspiring, funny, talented, and all around awesomest dudes you could ever have hoped to meet...the one, the only, Wesley Willis...this guy is my fucking hero, seriously...and on this holiday i take time to remember the lovable giant genius that brought us such hits as 'Cut The Mullet', 'I Wupped Batman's Ass', 'The Vultures Ate My Dead Ass Up', 'Suck A Cheetah's Dick', and so many more...May 31 is his birthday and if he hadn't tragically died from complications with myelogenous leukemia in 2003, he would have been 47...in his musical career he has released over 50 albums, not to mention the hundreds of sketches, paintings, and drawings he has done of his hometown city of Chicago...there will never be anyone else quite like Wesley, he has brought endless laughter and joy to his countless friends and fans across the world and his memory and legacy will live on forever in the hearts and minds of everyone who has listened to his music or were lucky enough to have bumped heads with him sometime during his magical, albeit too brief, amazing life...ok, so enough with the mushy stuff...i loved the guy like a milkshake, but i know he wouldn't want anyone to be depressed...in fact, if he were here right now i think he'd probably say 'suck a woolly mammoth's cock with miracle whip' or something else hilarious along those lines...if theres one thing that Wesley Willis has taught me, its that no matter what obstacles you are faced with in life, if you work hard and put all of your effort into something, theres no telling what you can accomplish and the impact you can have on the rest of society...oh yeah, and i also learned, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that Batman is a fool! hahaha...R.I.P. Pulling Teeth

in 2006 hardcore got a little more awesome with the release of this album by Pulling Teeth...these dudes hail from the place of my birth, Baltimore, Maryland (Go Orioles!) and i couldn't be more proud to share the same origins as these hardcore juggernauts...their sound really makes me think of Agnostic Front, the vocals definitely got that Roger Miret flair but something about the music too...this is a killer album by a killer band, mastered by the great Scott Hull so the sound is incredible, and it even includes a few bonus videos...Dwid Hellion is down with these guys and he edited one of their videos so thats enough hardcore street cred for me...Pulling Teeth are for real...check out this album and then watch the bonus videos, or vice versa, your call

Grog, Roadside Burial, & PussyVibes

brand new 3 way split from a few of the most asskicking gore/porn/grind bands on the scene...i fucking love this release! Grog starts it off with 6 tracks of killer gore/porngrind and their last track is a Nuclear Assault cover song which totally blew me away, caught me by surprise, and then caused me to reminisce for a moment on how awesome thrash used to be and how awesome Danny Lilker still is...you Nuclear Assault fans out there know what im talkin about...anyway, so next comes the murderous goregrind stylings of Roadside Burial...i have to admit i wasn't too familiar with this band before this release but they fucking rule...really good groovy, heavy, hardcore riffs and nice deathy vocals...i thought it was great...and finally we have, last, but certainly not least, one of my favorite porno/gore/sci fi grind bands (see an earlier post) the mighty PussyVibes! how awesome are these guys? they write songs about martian bitches that will rape you...so yeah, pretty fucking awesome...all of their tracks on this release have to do with martians, particularly of the female persuasion...i really liked the track 'Devil Girls From Mars'...the band had posted that song on their myspace page prior to releasing the album and once i heard it, i knew i had to have this shit...3 ways don't get much better than this...unless you're in an actual 3 way with like real women and stuff...that might be a little better, but we all know that shit ain't gonna happen so you might as well throw on this 3 way split and rock out with your cock out...stroll out with your pole out...hang out with your wang out...jam out with your ram out...you get the picture

Leng Tch'e - Hypomanic

here is the brand new album from Aussie razorgrind assassins, Leng Tch'e...this band has been one of my favs since their 2005 album, Process Of Elimination...i was a bit skeptical upon hearing that they had recruited a new singer, as i was a big fan of El Bastardo and thought his vocals really fit the mood and intensity of the music...but i gotta tell ya, this new guy can growl it out with the best of em and im definitely impressed with his style and range, in fact theres one song (Totalitarian) on this new album that i had to stop and replay a few times because i could swear that i heard Barney Greenway from Napalm Death in there for a second...this album was actually produced by the same guy that has done some Napalm Death and Brujeria albums so maybe Barney did sneak in there for a guest spot, or maybe i should do more research before i start talking out my ass, but whatever the case, this new singer, Serge, is a great vocalist and a perfectly acceptable replacement for El Bastardo (who left the band of his own accord, by the way) for anyone who might be asking themselves "what the hell is a Leng Tch'e?" their name is translated into 'Death By A Thousand Cuts', which is an ancient Chinese method of torture and execution...the band also has an album by the same name, so there ya go, a little knowledge to go with your grind...check out this latest, greatest, lethal lacerating LP by Leng Tch'e, and try not to cut yourself

Dread - Cerebral Mutation

this is the brand new full length album by Italy's answer to groovy kickass death metal, Dread...what, you haven't heard of them? thats because this is their first full length album and what an introduction they've made to the metal community! i love finding out about new bands...theres probably a new band started everyday somewhere in the world, but amidst all the garbage and bullshit thats out there, every once in awhile you come across a gem that makes the neverending quest of finding new music worth it all...this is a great rockin death metal album, simple as that...these guys toured last year with Jungle Rot, which makes a lot of sense because they have that same groovy, headbangin, mosh it up style of death metal that Jungle Rot plays so well...i expect this band to be going places, and then again maybe im wrong and they might never release another cd, who the fuck knows? but regardless, this album is a very good debut and definitely worth a listen

you've heard the expression "in one ear and out the other" well, this story gives a 'hole' new meaning to the phrase...check this shit out...this 70 year old man decided, fuck it, i've lived a long time, its starting to suck, i keep shittin in my pants, im too old to get it up anymore, and i can't find work, so i might as well blast my brains out...seems logical enough, right?...so he lays down in bed next to his sleeping wife, probably saying goodbye to her as she dreams old lady dreams of snuggies and yard sales and pinching little children on the cheeks, and then he proceeds to shoot himself in the head...but what this poor, depressed man didn't consider is that despite hearing from his wife his entire life that he had a thick skull, his skull wasn't nearly thick enough to stop a high speed bullet from traveling directly through it and coming out the other side to also explode the brain of his sleeping, innocent wife lying next to him...i thought this was a crazy story so i decided to pass it along...the moral of the story is to be aware of your surroundings and think about what repercussions your actions might have...if you wanna kill yourself, fine, but take a look at the people around you first, they might not want to die just because your wrinkly old ass decides its time to check out

this is one of the awesomest videos i've seen on youtube in a long time...a good friend of mine brought it to my attention because its just super fucking badass...ok, well actually the man they call Vietnam Tom is a super badass from hell...hes a 67 year old white man, resembling what the result would be if the Macho Man Randy Savage and Papa Smurf were somehow fused together into one body...and that body was forced to ride a bus and has a very low tolerance for shit talking scumbags...it all started peacefully enough, when the old man was riding on a bus one day going god knows where, and along came a black man, with nothing better to do than to run his mouth and talk a lot of shit, with absolutely nothing to back it up...well ol Vietnam Tom lets him have it, and im telling you this shit is righteous! i dunno if hes having a flashback from the war or what, but its obvious that his rage meter is off the charts and hes about to unleash a vicious ten hit knockout combo, the likes of which is rarely seen outside of the Tekken Arena...i wish we could see more of the blows that he landed but the camera moves during all the commotion, but trust me, once you see what the black mans face looks like after Tom had a go at it with his 67 year old lunchbox fists of fury, you'll think twice before fucking with the next senior citizen you meet...you might just get yo muthafuckin ass stomped by a geriatric giant with a santa claus beard...a quick word to the wise, i think Ice Cube said it best, "you best check yoself, befoe you wriggity wreck yoself, muthafucka!!" apparently this is the one black man that has never heard that song...oh well, his loss, our amusement...check out the Bus Terminal Beatdown!

Auto Tony

heres a great prank call from the professional phony phone call duo of Richard and Sal, from the Howard Stern show...the show had just received an auto tuner machine or program or whatever and Howard had been fucking around with it and i personally thought it was hilarious...but Sal has taken it to the next level by calling a pizza shop and placing an order using the auto tuning device...the result is a really funny call, even the girl taking the order had to laugh...he uses the moniker, Auto Tony, and gives the entire order in auto tuned hilarity...i think he probably could've gotten into that girls pants if he wanted to, she seemed like she was digging the call but i think once Sal whipped out his gross, uncircumcised penis and asked her to look inside his "pouch" she'd be running for the hills...anyway, super funny call, like i said in an earlier post, the whole auto tune thing always cracks me up...so if you're like me, then you'll dig this

Brain Drill - Quantum Catastrophe

quick, somebody get me a mirror, i think my face has melted off and i look like the guy from the cover of the new Brain Drill album...after listening to this technical death metal masterpiece, i feel like my brain has been thrown into a washing machine and its stuck on the spin cycle...these dudes are incredibly talented and i have to admit that i usually don't go for this kind of death metal...most "technical" bands i listen to, im just like "ok, i get it, you know how to play guitar really well, thats great, now wheres the fucking breakdowns?!" but there are always exceptions to the rule and this band is one of them...they play the most insane technical shit you could think of, but do it in a way that you don't feel like you're just listening to a death metal guitar clinic...the riffs are all over the place but somehow the songs have structure and don't just sound like a collage of random riffs loosely thrown together...and i love it when everything stops for 2 seconds and the bass does a crazy intricate fill and then the rest of the band comes full blast back into the song...it really shows how tight the band is, the way they can stop and start on a dime like that...great stuff...if you want something to melt your face off and blow your puny little human mind, then this is the album for you

One Man's Sewage Is Another Man's Sammich!

back to the grind...heres an album from 2006 that i really liked at the time and someone mentioned something the other day that made me think about it so i decided to give it another spin and then post it on here...one of the best band names and album titles of recent memory, here we have Sewage Sammich with 'One Man's Sewage Is Another Man's Sammich!' these guys play crazy, spastic, and almost schizophrenic grindcore with a flair for the comical side of grind, which i like a lot...some clever and amusing song titles include 'Bongwaterbed', 'Retarded Chicks Don't Care If I Have AIDS', 'Black Guy Pees', and 'Surfin' With Satan' it was mastered by Scott Hull at his Visceral Sound studio in Maryland and the production is great, something you don't always hear a lot of in grindcore...i don't think these guys have released anything since this album but im hungry for more

Melvins - The Bride Screamed Murder

here is the brand new 2010 album of all new and original tunes by the Melvins...i know theres probably a lot of haters out there like, "how can you listen to grindcore and death metal and then like the Melvins?" to them i'd just like to say, "fuck off, your opinion means nothing to me because i know im right"...i like good music, simple as that, i don't really care what genre it happens to fall under or whether its socially or culturally acceptable...and the Melvins play good music...period...i've been listening to this band since i was 11 and that was like 20 fucking years ago! how many bands can you think of that have endured for that long and not lost their flavor? a few, sure, but not many and i personally think that this newest incarnation of the band is by far the best ever...two of the members also perform in the Melvinesque rock band Big Business (who are also rad, if you like Melvins, you'll like them) and these guys really add to the creativity and musicianship of the already kickass King Buzzo...its definitely worth a listen, and if you don't like it, go throw on the new Justin Bieber cd, faggot!

this video is the best job of audio/video synchronization that i've ever seen...and probably one of the funniest fucking things i've ever seen too...its a video by hardcore glam rockers, KISS...except there is a twist...someone has removed the KISS audio and replaced it with the most brilliant and absurd song you will ever hear....the band is called P.I.S.S. and they play a super weird and really funny song called 'I Will Never Go To School'...you have to see this video! i cannot stress that enough...the way the music links up with the video is incredible and just adds to the hilarity of it all...whoever made this did a really good job and i'd like to thank them..."i was paid to fly with you Batman!" Rompeprop

the masters of gore are back with a new full length album entitled, 'Gargle Cummics'...Rompeprop are the greatest! one of my favorite bands and one of the best in this particular genre, that being goregrind...they have the sickest vocals imaginable and their riffs are big, fat, and full of groove...they even cover the Steppenwolf tune, 'Born To Be Wild' except they change the title to 'Porn To Be Wild' and its crazy good...i always liked that song and this updated, gored out version is even better than the original...its 16 tracks of groovalicious goregrind that can't be beat...i love the comic book style cover art too...so pick up 'Gargle Cummics' and rock out with Rompe!

The Human Centipede

i haven't posted anything about the new movies i've been watching lately so i figured it was probably about time and what better time than the present to mention a movie i've been impatiently waiting to see....THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE....what to say about this movie? wow, holy shit! and what the fuck?!! are the first three things that come to mind...i absolutely loved this movie...it was so fucked up and insane and just medically plausible enough that the thought of someone realistically doing what the mad german surgeon in the movie does is a very scary possibility....i thought the acting was incredible and Dieter Laser, the man who played the german doctor, deserves the Oscar for best lead male role in a motion picture...he really made you believe the story and gave the whole film an extra dose of realism as he switches from speaking english to german (usually when hes angry) flawlessly and you can tell hes got his shit down...now for the plot of the movie...well, you see, this doctor has a dream of surgically linking three bodies together, ass to mouth, through the gastric system, thus creating a living, breathing, human centipede...that was his dream and oh boy does he make it a reality...one of the most disturbing films i've heard of or seen lately, it won an award for best picture in 2009 at Screamfest and i can totally understand why...its awesome!...if you like fucked up movies then this is not to be missed...im still kinda in a bit of shock...every time i think about the 'lead' person of the centipede taking a shit and then that shit is traveling out his ass and through the mouth of the girl surgically attached to his rectum and then that same dookie travels through her and ends up in the mouth of her best friend whos got her face buried all up in her butthole...wow, what a disgustingly repulsive thought...but thats exactly what happens, all that and more, so if you like horror and movies, but not horrible movies, then check this flick out and witness, The Human Centipede!

Subhumanoid Secretion

ok, so heres my contribution to the cybergrind universe...back in 2006 i began a solo project, heavily influenced by S.M.E.S., Prosthetic Cunt, and too much spare time...i called it Subhumanoid Secretion, partly as an ode to one of my favorite punk bands, Subhumans, and cause i thought it sounded like it fit the music and the theme i was trying to create...being a big sci fi fan i decided to write morbid songs dealing with space, aliens, the extinction of the human race, and tacos...i luv tacos...anyway, check it out but keep your comments to yourself, unless of course you liked it, in which case you should probably go have your head examined and then, if you're not immediately put in a straitjacket and hauled off to the loony bin, feel free to let me know that im doing something right...i recorded this album in a tiny apartment using my computer, a keyboard, an acoustic/electric Dean guitar with Zoom pedal, my Gibson bass, and a piece of shit Radioshack microphone...it was a lot of fun to make and although the production might not sound as good as say, the new Rompeprop album, i think its not too bad all things considered

A Mean Case Of The Splits

when i first saw the cover art to this album i thought "damn, thats the nastiest shit ever!" i mean literally this cover is shitty...but thats what you have to expect from the masters of fecal matter, Stump...this is what you would call 'poopcore' (the subgenres of metal are endless and absurd) all of their songs deal with some sort of bowel erupting experience...with song titles like 'The Art Of Farting', 'Same Shit, Different Pants', and one of my personal favorites, 'Down In The Dumps' how could you not be at least a little intrigued? i obviously was and immediately bought this shitty cd...but i mean that in the best possible way, seriously...this cd actually rocks!! Stump kicks you in the asshole with some groovy grindcore and catchy choruses that make you believe the theory that sometimes the best ideas come about when you're busy takin the Browns to the Superbowl (as a good friend of mine likes to say)....and wait, i haven't even mentioned the Decrypt side to this cd...it isn't called 'A Mean Case Of The Splits' for nothing....Decrypt come at you with some heavy grindcore insanity....while Stump is comical and lighthearted with their lyrical content, Decrypt is exactly the opposite, their songs deal more with the political/sociological side of grindcore...its a great contrast from two really awesome bands...the lyrics are included in the booklet of the cd plus a collage of these crazy bastards...i fucking love the stage names that the guys in Stump use...Poop Doggy Dogg - pottymouth + 7 string shitar...Poo Diddy - buttgrunts + 5 string shitfiddle...LL Stool J - 5 piece dung set + stool samples....i mean, that shit is hilarious (pun intended) so do yourself a favor and grab this crappy cd and have a shit kickin good time....and don't forget to wipe
